Original Orangutan painting – “Golden Sunrise” (2025)

This is my original hand-drawn orangutan artwork, created with acrylic on linen canvas and signed in the bottom corner. It is a portrait of a well-adored orangutan called Kevin, currently living in Apenheul primate park in Netherlands.

Artwork size: approx. 16 × 20 (frame not included).
I will donate 15% of the profits of this sale to charity to support endangered primates.
This piece is part of my brand new great apes wildlife painting collection… I’ve released it at a special introductory price of £450 (future paintings will be priced higher).

The painting blends realism with a slightly abstract style, capturing the spirit and presence of this beautiful orangutan. It makes a striking statement piece for wildlife lovers, art collectors, or as a meaningful gift.

Handling
Your painting is created using highest quality acrylic paint on linen canvas, finished with an isolation coat and 2 layers of UV-protecting varnish to ensure your artwork lasts a lifetime.

Displaying

Avoid hanging in direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause pigment fading. For extra protection, consider UV-filtering or non-reflective glass when framing.
Do not display in damp or humid areas (e.g., bathrooms) or near radiators, as fluctuating temperatures and moisture can damage the artwork.

📦 Processing & Delivery

Dispatch time: 1–2 business days from England.
UK delivery: Royal Mail Tracked 24 (estimated 1–3 days).
International delivery: Approx. 1–3 weeks (varies by country).

Customs notice: Buyers are responsible for any import duties or taxes. Delivery delays may occur due to customs checks or during peak times (please allow up to 7 additional days after Christmas).

🇺🇸 U.S. Orders: Please note, due to recent changes in U.S. tax regulations (August 2025), all parcels sent from the UK may now incur import taxes or customs fees. These are set by U.S. Customs and are payable by the buyer. I’ll always include the correct paperwork to make the process as smooth as possible.
